The 2008 Adventures in Technology will be between held from Sunday, April 27th to Thursday, May 1st, 2008 and is hosted by the Rotary Club of Saskatoon Meewasin in collaboration with the Rotary and Rotaract Clubs of Saskatoon. This exciting program will involve up to 37 high school students in an intense four and one-half day exploration of advanced technology, research, development and applications. During their visit, participants will be able to open the doors to an exciting array of some of Canada's finest corporations and research facilities including the University of Saskatchewan, Innovation Place Research Park & the Canadian Light Source Synchrotron to name just a few. Of course, the students will also be treated to the best in Saskatchewan hospitality and have the opportunity to make new friends from across the western provinces. Schedule of Activities
AIT 2008 Participation in this program requires sponsorship by a Rotary club in your area. Please note that interest in our program is very strong and the enrollment is limited to 32 out of town students. Applicants are accepted into the program upon receipt of the sponsor application form and registration fee on a first come, first receive basis. Rotary clubs interested in sponsoring Participants from their community should submit the sponsorship application forms which are now available (CLICK HERE).
