WCS Project of Saskatoon Meewasin Rotary Club.

Baharini Primary School,

650 students from preschool to grade 12.

16 Qualified instructors.

Students learn, English, Math, Social, Sports, Geography, Local language.

Lunch is provided daily.

Students attend school from 7.am to 4 pm Monday through Friday.

With funding and donations in kind, Rotary provided the following:

    - 65 – 4 person School Desks.

    - 80 – 6’ Benches.

    - Kitchen Cooking and Serving Supplies.

    - School Text and Reading Books for all grades.

    - Clothing – Uniforms – Shoes – Donation from (Rob Therialt) Superstore, Saskatoon.

    - Clothing – Tee Shirts – Donation from Ottawa Senators NHL Hockey Organization.

    - Soccer / Tennis Balls.

    - Students are from families that live within a 6 kilometer radius of the school.

    - Students compete in athletic activities against other schools.

    - Securtec (Saskatoon)                   $c.750.00.

    - Ottawa                                       $c.2000.00.

    - Miscellaneous Donations                  $c.4200.00.

School desks and benches were manufactured by a local company.

Text, Reading books, kitchen supplies all purchased at local stores.
